Gay Bedfordshire in association with Men4Men
My name is Doug Stow and I run the Men4Men project which is funded by Luton NHS. I'm here to provide confidential, friendly advice to all bi-sexual or gay men living in the Bedfordshire area. As part of the project I set out to offer you "24 hour phone support" and by appointment "1on1 counselling" on:- gay issues & relationships; sexual health information; sexuality & safe-sex; post-trauma sexual abuse; psycho-sexual therapy; homophobic crime; sexually transmitted infections (STI); GUM clinics arranging treatment if required.
Also in order to promote good sexual health within the local community I work with all the gay events and venues to ensure that they dispense free "safe-sex" literature, as well as extra strong condoms and water based lube. Use the forms below if you'd prefer to have these posted to you in an un-marked envelope.
Additionally, I am here to help you fight against homophobic crime or discrimination. So, contact me if you are being discriminated against because of your sexual orientation or issues relating to it. I also have contacts at the Bedfordshire Police who I can liaise with on your behalf. Don't feel isolated - speak to me! Just remember Men4Men is located at THE LODGE, close to Luton's town centre and you can phone, email or even visit me on appointment!
